There is a simulater of computer itself. You can run that and install it in windows os.And then install linux in the virtual computer. And use as two computer's linked into a network virtually.

Go to google and searc for vmware you will see lot of links to download.Just get it and install.

Yeah, there is a knopixx software, you can run it directly from the CD, and it will let you run all of the commands of Linux. It will come with all of its documentation and support. It is really easy to use.

Dude VMWARE is not a linux simulator. It just let you install different OS on one hard drive without partitioning. It is just like a Virtual PC.

knoppix is not an emulator , it is only a KDE based linux CD distribution, like this anoother GNOME based distro is called Gnoppix.

If you know how to operate this versions, better directly switch to redhat or debian big grin big grin

Stop being a *** and just dual boot your system on your computer. Fighter pilots learn to fly using a simulator because they can die... but eventually they hop in to a real plane. It seems you just want to use a simulator so you don't ever touch the real thing. Come on man. Install Redhat, Debian or anything else -- they're free for goodness sake!

Anyways, good luck on memorizing "all linux commands"
root@2[jon_k]# cmdlist
Display all 2919 possibilities? (y or n)
root@2[jon_k]#

Thats a lot of commands. laughing
