not at all..

have driven into Toronto on a Friday night on the 401.. and that wasn't so
bad.. quite impressive sight actually.
this san bernadino of which you speak.. holds no fear for me..
bunch a slow drivin yanks...

as for british car's.. couldn't agree more..
least you didn't have to suffer the maxi or the princess (cars).. that said
the Noble is pretty much ok

at the speed you guys drive at?
you must be kidding...

What do you consider fast driving?

In a british car? About 30mph I imagine. I think the old E-type Jags
could do about 120. Trick was keeping it running long enough to get
going that fast.

billyw would have kittens if he ever tried diving on the San Bernardino
Fwy. Six lanes of bumper-to-bumper traffic going 90 mph. Except at rush
hour. Then they go 5mph.

Are trying to tell me on those little country roads in Scotland, you can
get
your car up to 120mph? Are you sure you don't mean 120kph?

I call shenanigans.

You can drag an AK47 through the mud and it will
still fire.

Ummm. Sure about that? AK uses 7.62x39mm...NATO round is 7.63x51mm.
Plus M60 is belt fed. I guess you could feed the AK rounds in one at a
time, but that would be a little time consuming. Still leaves the
problem of the round being about 12mm shy of the firing pin, however.

Quite sure, it works. RE: the belt fed issue, when your in combat you
need all the rounds you can get at times and though it's a pain in the
ass you can spend the night putting those little clips back together with
the scrounged rounds, it's not pretty nor is it perfect but it does work.
You also have to watch out for the clips that get bent cause they'll jam
on ya.

Yes, but my ratio of Posts to PotDs is quite low. Not as low as, say,
Neil's, but still quite low.

Yup, I have put together many belts. What I'm sceptical about is the
relative LENGTH of the two rounds. 7.62x.39 case is about a half inch
SHORTER than the NATO brass.

So it's all about the length for you eh?

you're so superficial...

If you are scrounging for rounds I suggest you stop wasting ammo with
your machine gun and learn to hit a point target.

f'n machinegunners...

Funny, but I maintained my expert badge's from induction through
separation (M16, Pistol, Grenade, M60), I was only in 3 yrs but that was
enough time from my life to give em'.
