A job that pays kick ass $$$, i might add.

There is only one small catch.

You have to go to a place where the locals favorite pastime is lighting you
on fire and dragging your burning corps through the street while they beat
it with a stick.

Man, life sucks... I tell ya.

Well of course it's tax free if you plan to be 'dead' before the Apr 15th.

Yes. The tolerances aren't very close. Funny how a poorly built
weapon can keep up with the latest technology.

For accuracy it can't.

Never fired an AK, with the M16 (with a bent barrel no less) I hit 9 of 10
at 500m with open sights prone position, but in close quarters (an urban
combat situation) on fully automatic I would not want to be facing the
business of either weapon. (props to the troops)

I know it's been fixed, but at the time I used the ones with the crappy hand
guards that would break on impact, damaging the gas tube. That dust cover
was introduced in Nam because of the dirt problem. The forward assist
likewise.

The M16 has been made to work, but I don't think it ever was the *perfect*
choice. But yes, it is a superior weapon to the AK47.

PS to Rowdy:

If you take the job, carry a pistol, something devastating, and if any Iraqi
bastards come for you take out as many as you can and make them kill you.
Going out in a blaze of glory sure beats getting your head sawed off in
front
of a camera.

That's why I specifically stated the M-16A2 which no longer has the problems
you describe.

Oh don't be so paranoid. Driving on the freeways in this country is
probably more dangerous.

It will work if you take care of your weapon.

Do you ever change the oil in your car? Are you surprised when it breaks
down?
