microsoft SQL training manual as well as C/al language

for sql server training i would suggest using books online. i am not sure
what language you wish to learn but again www.msdn.com should be a good
place to start.
download and install sql server and visual studio .net and play around with
it. look up amazon for decent learning material (read the user reviews)
