Bobo and Bernie,
Since you two are taking up about 90% of the message space now, how about
taking it to email so the rest of us don't have to wade through your
personal fight? Or better yet, drop it since neither is going to convince
the other and it is an excercise in futility.

I've already passed CCNA with 874 and you.
I thought it was a 974??? Then it was 976, then it was 874. Which is
it. Do you really think it matters. I actually scored really close
to that back in 2000. Without looking it up, I know it was either a
few points higher or a few points less than the scores you first
listed. But that is really irrelevant, since scores are not very
impressive. The fact that you propose to be an instructor who just
now passed the CCNA is quite amusing.
you know, was 974.Just a mistake.
You don't remember your score?
It is a bit ridiculous.
|
I don't remember my score from three years ago for the same reason I
don't remember a math score from 5th grade. You can't remember your
score from two weeks ago, so who are you to point fingers. If it is
of great importance to you, I can go look it up in my filing cabinet.
Just let me know.
| Quote: |
Why do you need a braindump? Can you not pick up a few books on
remote access technologies? I can recommend a few good resources on
FR and ATM and Sonet, if you want to learn. If you want to cheat,
then I can't help you there.
Look at the newsgroup, Who only study on books without use Trial Questions?
A great minority!
|
Because people in the newsgroup are trying to pass exams, duh. You
are trying to sound informed to your students and teach them. That is
a slightly different concept. A very deep book on a subject such as
ATM will equip you to answer any question on the technology, a
braindump will only equip you to spout the answers to the questions
you have seen before, and even then you won't be able to explain why
one is the correct answer vs the other.
| Quote: | Keep in mind that books like Sybex And Cisco Press Contain a section
dedicated to
Trial Questions.
So don't be a false, look at the truth!
|
I understand that the Cisco Press books are geared toward the person
passing the exam. That isn't hard to understand. You are claiming
that you want to understand Remote Access technologies so you can
answer any of the questions that students throw at you. If you want
to study braindumps to equip yourself, then I won't stand in the way
of you looking silly in front of your classroom, lol.
So answer this question...when you go to the bookstore and pick up an
O-Reilly Press book on say Ethernet, why are there no chapter
questions? Is it because you knowledge is not contingent on
memorizing test answers? Just possibly?
| Quote: | But it is too difficult to understand. You're only a supposed CCNA a
little
bit frustrate.
Actually, I hold many more certifications including 4 hands-on lab
ones. You just seemed to be hung up on how impressive your CCNA is,
so I told you when I got the CCNA. I am not in the habit of listing
my certs because A) you would call me a liar anyway, and B) I am not
really impressed by certifications, not even the ones I hold. Try
searching deja to find other certs I hold, lol.
Please Let us know Which ones.
|
They are on carrier class WAN switches from Nortel. I hold all expert
certs on those products. Hey, your local telco might even have them
installed. But you can do your own research. That is why Hansang has
printed some of my posts on such subjects.
