Since now they've made changes to CCNA that it requires two exams to
complete, does this mean I'm going to have to chuck my sybex CCNA study
guide I just bought in the rubbish? Or is it still possible to pass with
this study guide?
Or do you just think I should fly through it and complete it before
September 30?

Fly through it and complete it before September 30th.
I'm using the ICND 507 book and the Lammle CCNA Study Guide
for 607 - paying more attention to the 507 book though. |

I am in the same position as you
I just gathered all this info
bought couple books
640-507 and sybex 640-607 simulators etc and now find out that unless i do
it by sept 30 I may have to buy at least one more book
The thing to note is the 640-607 will be valid for 3 years so I am planning
to give it a shot
if I fall short fine at least by then I would have gathered some info and at
least the 50bucks for the new book
btw you can sit 1 exam after sept 30 , 640-801
