I'm a little confused about the decision to split the CCNA into two exams? -
what is the official reason to do this? Being able to test people in more
material or?

Anyway, just wondering, because the first thing that comes into my mind was,
"well there they go, doubling the cost of a relative simple cert" - But I
guess there must be something more legitimate to it...

Oh, sorry, I didn't see that there are two possibilities..

But it was the 640-811 ICND and 641-821 INTRO (Beta) I was talking about
