I connected a catalyst 1924EN and a catalyst 2802. Configured 2 VLANs on

2. Two PCs are connected to separate switch and they can ping each other
from almost every port in VLAN1. Except if one pc connects to port 1 of
the1924EN, ping will fail. Is this port reserved for special purpose or I
just have a dead port?
3. Why can't the two PCs ping each other from VLAN2 at all?

Hi, Please inform us about what version of CatOS you have on the two
switches.
And how have you linked the two switches together ? For example whitch port
is the one that is dedicated as the VLAN trunk ?
Add the config file to the posting.
This will increase the probability that you are going to get a answer.
