Joe,
The sim questions are built to test basic configuration and troubleshooting.
Therefore, don't spend too much time on things like you mentioned. Focus on
the BASICS!!!! Know how to configure passwords, routing protocols,
interfaces, and such. Plus, given an existing configuration, know how to use
IOS tools to troubleshoot connectivity problems. You have access to a
limited form of context-sensitive help. So spend time on configuration and
troubleshooting basics. And when doing the sim questions, READ each line and
task CAREFULLY. My recommendation is to complete the scenario in the order
that they list, if an order is given. And execute every command related to a
task. In other words, if they say examine the routing table, don't skip the
"show ip route". If they say test connectivity to both 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.5,
make sure you ping both. Know one knows how Cisco scores these sim
questions, but I would make absolutely sure you did everything possible to
complete the objective.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

using a terminal server to switch between routers ? Will I have to

this terminal server ?
Will I have to be worried about "logging sync" and "exec-timeout" ?
Will
I have to configure a frame switch ?
Thanks !
