Many other businesses preferentially hire or require their employees to hold a CompTIA A+ certification, including IBM, AMC, Best Buy, Cable Express, Care Call, CDW Computer Centers, Comark, Compaq, Compucom, Emtec, Micro Center, Nex Innovations, Radio Shack, Paragon Development Systems, Ricoh, SBS Siemens, Sears, Specialty Computer Systems, State Farm and Xerox.

CompTIA A+ is endorsed by the National Skills Standard Board and the Veterans Administration, and is required by the U.S. State Department and the Federal Aviation Administration.

The CompTIA A+ certification exam was created at the request of the very industry that employs CompTIA A+ certified individuals. You can be sure CompTIA A+ is a highly recognized and respected credential.
