default behaviour is for cnr to hand out i.p. addressed based on giaddr--a
behaviour that can be modified by using client reservations, or client-
classes. as best i can tell, reservations can only be made based on the
client's mac address. i would like to know if it's (relatively easily--
i.e., withouth extension points) possible to alter this behaviour. for
example, i would like to serve i.p. addresses based on a dhcp option 82
sub-option, specifically, remote-id (which in the case of broadband
networks is the mac address of the dsl or cable modem that the cpe is
sitting behind). cisco has spotty documentation about how to do this in
version 6.0 through nrcmd.

all help would appreciated.
