Hello everybody!
I just signed up... And I must say alot of posted messages here are indeed very helpful.

I need advice on my up and coming Network+ exam. As I have just discovered, the N10-002 exam has retired a few months back with the N10-003 now the standard Network+ exam.
I had this exam in my mind for a long time already and have a few reviewers and sample tests too. Unfortunately, most of the resources I have are for N10-002. Are these study guides completely obsolete? Do I now need to hookup on some websites and get reviewers for the N10-003 or am I okay with the N10-002's?
Are the differences between the two exams only on the number of quetions and passing mark?

Also, I have two books for reference... ExamCram2 Network+ ( that covers the new May2005 exam) and the Mike Meyere's Cert Passport Network+. Am I okay with these?

I hope somebody could shed me some of their wisdom.

Wish I had taken the Network+ exam much earlier, but was studying for my CCNA (* which I passed last month*) - YEY!

Thanks alot and congratulations to all those who have passed their certs and good luck to those still studying for them ( like me).
More power to this website!

Regards,
Chey

p.s If anyone needs advice or help with their CCNA exam (640-801) feel free to message me... Be glad to help.

Ya, examcram book is good, beside this Exam guide by Michael Meyers and Brian Schwarz book and ucertify practice tests would be fine for you. Transcender is one of the big name but I'm suggesting ucertify coz you can save big-big amount, they are giving 70% discount. I had gone through the product of transcender, but it was total wastage. Questions were too long and vague; I didn’t study it much but it covers almost of exam topics. I think these are enough, read book, simulation you will be fine.

Hi Prince_Johnson,
Thanks so much for the reply. Been waiting for a reply for ages now.
Glad to hear that I got the right references. I checked ucertify.com as you have suggested and it turns out they are still carrying reviewers for N10-002. I guess my old Test king sample tests plus my references would suffice as they are also for N10-002.
And thanks also for shedding some knowledge on transcenders. Been curious about them and was even planning to buy some for my future CCNP endeavors. Will lean more on ucertify then (when i have some dead president$$ to spare). smile

Thanks again!
