Just recently when I click on IE it takes about 1-2 minutes to start. I
always clean out my temp internet folders... so I dont think this is the
problem. I even re-installed IE and it still does it.

Any ideas?

The anti-virus program (Norton 2002) never had any effects on the system
before.

Well I know Mcafee, with default options, noticably slows down both IE and
Outlook.
