comptia site says a new test in Nov of 2003, how does that affect me that I
just took and passed the tests 2 months ago?

I am in the same boat as you (May 2003 A+), but if I remember correctly the
A+ is a life long certification, no retest needed to stay current. But you
should at least keep your skills up and ongoing, keep studying the new
material and parts and equipment that comes out so you are up-to-date.

It doesn't affect you at all.

CompTIA A+ is currently a one-time lifetime certification.

You don't need to recertify.

Cheers, and welcome to the club!

It doesn't affect you at all. A+ is a one time, life time, entry level
certification.
