The pass mark for all Microsoft exams is 700. I'm not sure about the number of questions though.

Thanks Michael. I am planning to take this exam in next week but I have some other doubts too,
1.Are points deducted for incorrect answers?
2.My friend says that this exam is an adaptive testing, is it true?
3.Are there questions require multiple answers and will I get points for responses that are partially correct?

Please guide me on this.

Thanks

Passed with a 879, I was expecting low 700s, but I guess studying pays off. Used ucertify and exam cram. Both are good as overviews of MS press book concepts and question format familiarization. As for the test; alot on Driver signing, installing and fixing. Few on Printers, NTFS/Share permissions also a biggie. EFS, compression. Didnt see more than 1 ? on Backup or Dynamic Vol. This exam does take a lot of studying, its complete pushover. I did not feel there was any particular concentration of questions in any area.

1. No point will be deducted for wrong answers.
2. Questions may have more then one correct solution. In this case you will get full marks for any correct answers but for Multiple choice questions you will receive partially credit for partially correct answers
3. Microsoft does not currently followed adaptive testing algorithms.

I am very excited because I have cleared MCSA exam 70-210 today. This was my second attempt. Although I prepared with two books, but failed in first attempt on 7th Nov. I think the reason behind it, not practice with practice questions. In second attempt I pay more attention on practicing. For practice I purchase a practice test from uCertify. This practice test was very close to the real exam and helped me to clear basic concept by providing exclusive study notes. Anyway today is the happiest day for me.

Thanks to all of you for giving me such a valuable suggestions.
