| I had my A+ certs but wandering for job. What other compTIA combination can fetch job for me. A+, network+, and linux+ or security+ in place of linux+. There are other exam also. But on job column these are asking for eligibility requirement. What technology job or degree pays the most money? What computer degree with offer me the best career? |

Sounds like you are going the route of technical support. Currently if just with A+ you would be focused mainly on PC support, but eventually you will want to go from PC to work on servers and data centers and eventually as network administrators or engineer. I would recommend getting the Network+ exam as the next one, with that and A+ counts as one elective for MCSA program, which you can work on next. With a network knowledgable background your chance of working for a large company is better. My first IT job was for a small company, so it was limited to what technologies to learn as they didn't have money or need to obtain emerging technologies and the such.
Server+ is something I'm looking at, even though I already obtained my MCSA. But right now there's a newer edition of the exam but I couldn't find much study material available. Security+ seems out of my field as I haven't worked much in security.
Hope this helps, best of luck! |
