|
|
Hi,
I'm was about to read the Mike Meyers All-in-one (4th Edition) book
and take the exams in a few months time (I'm reading the book in spare
time at work), but I noticed that there will be a new COMPtia exam by
then.
It crossed my mind to wait until there is a new Mike Meyers book, but
that could well into next year. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks, Chobb |

Chobb (and everyone else!),
Only you can decide whether to take the current exams or the new ones
that will debut this November, but I can help clarify the book issue.
You won't have to wait until next year to read Mike Meyers' A+
All-In-One 5th Edition. It will be available around the first of
November, just prior to the switchover from current to new A+ exams.
Hope that helps, and happy studying!

ps: For the inveterate Mike-watchers among you, here's a news tidbit
that's completely unrelated to the new edition of the A+ All-In-One
book. Mike has a cool new hat! (Don't worry--the white Stetson has not
been retired.) To see a picture of it, head to the Total Seminars web
site and poke around for the hidden link ... |

I've heard that XP is going to be on the next one so it might be advisable
to bone up on that.
