How do I do this???
The file MFC42.DLL was probably overwritten by another one. In safe mode
copy a good copy to C:\Windows\System or where you have installed the OS.
Try looking in one of the cabinet files.

Depends on the OS
W9x is EXTRACT and W2000 is EXPAND
9X - use DOS prompt within Windows
EXTRACT/Y/A WIN98_21.CAB MFC42.DLL
W2000 - Command prompt
EXPAND D:\I386\*.CAB -F:MFC42.DLL C ........... D being your CDROM
