Yeah, I have had a few visitors, but not as many as I thought.
Starting a blog and writing about things that interest you is not
automatically generating a lot of visitors. I have more visitors on
my personal journal than my developer blog, don't know how many on my
BI blog, but I suspect not many.
I write mostly for my own sake and have no advertising etc. My main
motivation for measuring the number of visitors is to learn about
google analytics.
I read quite a few blogs, but I don't think many do.

What I would suggest if you want more visitors is to add it to your sig

here. This place generates alot of traffic.

Um, not all Americans. Some of us aren't sure about it either.

Actually, I used to like County - back in the day when
it was about getting drunk, fighting and going to prison.

Now it's a bunch of gay love songs.

because of mounting consumer debt. So vote for me and I'll tell the
fed to raise interest rates to stop it'

That's why this is up to the cental bank. Politicians would mess up the
economy.
What bothers me is that some politicians, while smarter than me, pretend to
be just as stupid as they think the voters are.

Which is why every few decades or so the government needs to
be overthrown (not that I'm advocating that, I don't need any
black helos).

Socialism, and its close relative Communism, give the gov plenty
of control, but at the expense of freedom. Problem is, politicians
are too stupid or greedy or both to micromanage the economy at that
level. Of course freedom is just another word anarchy. Free markets
and small government are ideal, but oligopolies and monopolies
corrupt the system. So things seems to work best when countries
are in a building phase and everyone is on the same page. This is
the environment after a successful ouster of a corrupt government
by an educated populace. Oh geez, we're doomed.
