We are currently using cisco 7940 handsets with Callmanager 4. We are
looking into the possibility of working from home and using the cisco
handset over cable/adsl connections.
Do you have any suggestions on how to implement this?

We have this with home routers and IPSEC VPN's. Just works, sort of.

It does just work however the connections are not very reliable. It is
not good enough for expensive users who use the phone professionally.
e.g. Sales, brokers. It is good enough if the odd dropped call doesn't
matter too much.
e.g. IT support, unless you are of course supporting Sales, brokers,
etc.
