Is there an IOS images that supports IPX for a 6509 with a Sup720?
I've used their feature navigator but can't find it.
I don't need to route IPX put I do need to switch (layer2) |

layer 2 switching is not protocol dependent
are you encountering some difficulty ? |

No, I was just trying to use protocol-filtering to keep IPX off of a
couple of ports, and didn't see the command in the IOS I had. Wasn't
for sure if it was the image I am using or if it's depricated. |

I was thinking there at one time were the following commands:
(global) protocol-filter
then yes,
switchport protocol ipx off |

I see those command options in IOS 12.1E for a SUP 1 but nothing more
recent ... |
