Hi.
Is there any way to change hos the tab functions? What I mean is, is there
any chance to make the router instead of making a new line with the
un-abreviated sentence, just fill out the line? Understand what I mean?

Example:
ALSwitch(config)#int gi (pressing tab)
ALSwitch(config)#int gigabitEthernet

Want it not to make that extra line...

Terje.

I don't believe there is any way to control that behavior. There
doesn't seem to be any configuration command that will suppress the
printing of the newline.
