This is what I have. A mapped drive to a parent folder. Under the parent
folder 6 child folers all with files located in each. I would to set this up
so only ONE user has full control of the parent and all child objects. How
do I go about this? If I go to the security tab the Everyone group is
showing with full control on the parent folder and all folders benenth it.
Do I make the changes here? Is there where permissions are made? Do I
remove the Everyone group and add that particular user and give them full
control? Im a bit confused on how to grant access to this folder to only one
person. Thanksk for your time. |

Hi,
Yes. You will have to remove the Everyone and add user or even better new
group and assign it appropriate permissions.
Note: if you grant Full control only to user Joe, Administrator will not
have permissions to browse the folder or change permissions. Still
Administrator can always take that permissions back.
