Hi,
Suddenly the following issue has occured on one of my servers (w2k3 standard
sp1 + exchange standard sp2)
After a reboot, Exchange wouldn't start (Routing Engine + IS). I wanted to
check hat happened, but can't get in the Appliaction event log anymore. The
Event log service is started and i can access all other logs fine. When
accessing the application log i get an error: "Unable to complete the
operation on "Application" The security descriptor structure is invalid". I
tried setting the event log to boot disabled, rebooting and then removing te
eventlog file, but nothing works. I keep getting this error.
I'm guessing not being able to access the Application log is probably also
the reason Exchange won't start. |
