Is there any way to restrict the size of a folder?
I know you can set up disk quotas and the like, but I need to be able to
restrict the size of a folder, not the entire volume.
Thanx. |

Hi John,
Yes please read what Miha has stated.
In addition, XP/W2k3's NTFS Quota is a volume based quota, but for folder
based quota, you will need to use R2's File Server Resource Manager. It
allows the admin to set a quota on any folder of the admin's choice and the
user will not be able ot store new files into that folder if the folder's
quota has been reached.
Feel free to post back if you have further questions. I"ll be more than glad
ot help you out.
