I am on a win2k pro box and am trying to connect to a 2k3 server with WMI.
When I launch wmimgmt.msc or wbemtest and connect to a 2k3 server {no service
pack} which is a member of an NT 4 domain {no AD group policy}, I get Access
is denied - error number 0x80070005. I did not build this server or know what
security template might have been applied, but I have a virtual 2k3 server
with default install and everything works fine.

I have checked the obivous things, I am an admin on the 2k3 server, I am in
the group that can access from the network, and launching these tools locally
works fine. When I try the utils remotely - I get access denied.

Any ideas where to look

thanks
