Orphaned Domain Controller would not be removed

I had an old domain controller which was removed from AD long time ago.
today I ran netdom query dc and that old DC just shows up in the list
together with other live DCs.
I went into ntdsutil to list server in site but it is not there.

Anyone has any idea? I thought when I remove that old dc from ntdsutil, it
would be gone but look like it is still in the AD somewhere

I forgot to delete the computer in active directory users and computers. As
soon as I delete the computer, it does not show any more in NetDom.
