We added a DC to our domain about a month ago. The AD data on this server
was in sync with the other DCs on the network when it wass brought online.
We discovered today that the AD data, users and computers info, on the new DC
is at least 2 weeks old. What causes this and how can it be fixed?

Thanks.

The DC in question is not replicating either. I went through the event log
and found the following:

The computer or domain controller trusts <domain name>. (This may be an
indirect trust.) However, the DC and domain have the same machine security
identifier (SID). NT should be re-installed on either the DC or domain.

I've made changes in the server and domain names to protect the innocent.
Does this help?

If you have trying to clone the a system without running sysprep to get a
new unique SID, You have remove one DC. Run sysprep, Promote it as DC again.
I really recommend to re-install the entire machine that's in conflict.
