Windows 2003 AD is compatible with NT 4 domain controllers.
Windows 2000 is the lowest Forest Functional Level and is the default forest
level at the time of initial installation. It supports W2K3, W2K, and NT 4.0
domain. By default, Windows 2003 is installed as a Windows 2000 mixed mode
domain. In this mode, Windows 2003 Active Directory domain controllers can
coexist with Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 domain controllers in the
forest.

I posted earlier about adding a second w2003 to a domain. On arrival at
site
I find I have three domain controller in the domain. Two are W2k an one is
NT4. Can I still safely run adprep / forestprep even though I have a NT 4
server in the domain? Everthing I see says windows 2k and up.
Thanks for any and all help
