hi,

Will like to ask the usage the alternative upn suffix on the domain and
trust, in when we will use it?

By default, the UPN is the user name and the domain name. You can add
additional UPNs to the forest via DOMAIN.MSC. You can add multiple
different UPNs to suit your needs.

Some reasons for adding new UPNs:

-- shorten the DNS name of the domain
-- simplify the UPN


For example, a user in the domain child.sub-domain.domain-name.root.com has
a stupidly long UPN (if the root domain is the first domain, and all the
others are child domains). You could choose to have everyone use
user@root.com.

Or, you might want really simple names like user@root
