Hello NG
I have a domain with 3 DC's. In the AD has I defines which Subnet at which
DC announces itself. Now it comes however from time to time before a PC at
wrong DC announces itself. How can I prevent that? |

Hi,
Check that all is well in DSSITE.MSC.
If you have three subnets in different locations, you should have three
subnets and three site objects. Each subnet should be linked to a site, and
the server object for the DC should be one per site.
If this is the case, ensure that all three are GCs:
Also check that there aren't stale _ldap records under the gc and dc
sub-domains of _msdcs. If there are, delete them. For example, if you
don't have scavenging, you might find some records stuck there.

Hi
The Site Objects are accurate configured. But i dont have an _msdsc. folder
in the DNS. That could be a problem?

I found the _msdcs (Advanced View). The _ldap records are under gc and dc in
the _tcp folder. Thanks.
Now i should delete all _ldap records or how are to define "stale _ldap
records "? And the same on the BDC?

You can define whether they are "stale" or not by looking to see if there
are records that point to a server that isn't a member of the site in
question under the _sites domain.
If you only have a small number of domain controllers, just delete _msdcs
and then restart NETLOGON on each of the DCs.
Just to be sure, re-check that the subnets and sites are correct and that
the server objects are in the correct place.
Also, just so that we're working on the same page as it were, please
re-explain your problem. Are clients using the wrong DC for logon?

Yes, we are working on the same page. The problem is that sometime a Client
in the Subnet "x" are logged in on the DC "y".
