|
|
Hi,
having a few probs on our network which is being migrated to XP. Some XP
computers are forcing Master Browser elections. I'd like to know how to kill
the Computer Browser server on these XP machines via a GPO.
I'm guessing I migh have to attach .ADM file as i cant see services options
under normal GPO settings.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Create a new GPO, navigate to "Computer Configuration - Windows Settings -
Security Settings - System Services", open "Computer Browser" and set it as
Disabled. Then link the GPO where you need it to be applied.
