All MS needs to do is that people need to have MCPD win + web before they
can take the MCPD:Enterprise exam.
Now, people can take all four MCTS + one MCPD: Enterprise exam to become
MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer. It means that MCPD:Enterprise may
or may not covers MCPD win + web.
BTW, Please can someone confirm that 551+552+554 = MCPD win + web +
Enterprise?
Just wonder is it same in the MCSE track :)

cheers,
Egghead

Just for the sake of certification. If MCPD:Enterprise covered from both
thing, MS would have given you MCPD win + web upon completion as well, but
they're not. So that means there must be slight difference. I'm not sure,
but MS knows it better :p

MCPD Enterprise IS the grandaddy. You get that and you have covered
everything.

Yes, I agree.

No, it's not. You can be MCPD-EAD and not have Web/Win.
Read my comment at [link]

You are right, Rob. But my point here is that the MCPD:EAD
certification *conceptually* encompasses both the MCPD:Windows And
MCPD:Web. It does not matter if the exams are different.

From the MS Site :

//
The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Enterprise Applications
Developer (MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer) credential
demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required
to build n-tier solutions that target both Web and rich-client user
experiences.

Your comment at the mentioned link is : "MCPD:EAD = 553 + 554, but this
won't include MCPD:Web or MCPD:Win".

Why would you want to be all three, when the MCPD:EAD means that you
are proficient at both Windows and Web apps.

Just my 2c

Regards,

Cerebrus.
