Only 80 questions, but most of them were about real obscure stuff that I hadn't a clue about or even read about in Mike Meyers' AIO book. Only a couple questions of how to access various tools and utilities. Questions about things I'd never heard of and some were written in such a way that they were very ambiguous. After the first six or so questions, I thought, "Girl, you're screwed!" But, I passed. I'M DONE with A+! Patty A+ Professional (can I say that now? <vbg>)

Mike Meyers and other A+ books are just bullshit! Doesn't help at all in passing A+ test. Hey you con-artist Meyers...I want a refund! With Mike Meyers AIO, you will pass, providing you read and study it. However, I believe you need more than just one study book to pass the A+. I found TestOut to be extremely helpful for the hardware and I got an 827 on that exam. I did not have TestOut for the OS and my score was much lower, 673. But, I still passed. And for that I am happy. I'm wondering what YOU think a person should do to pass the test if they purchase no books or study aids at all? Oh, that's right. Aren't you the person who advocated getting test answers from someone and cheating your way through the test? At least with Mike Meyers and the other A+ study aids, I learned about computers and OSes AND I passed the test as well. I didn't just memorize answers to pass the test. I think that I will be a much better computer tech person than someone who just memorizes answers and cheats to pass the test will be, because I really did learn a lot about computers and OSes. Patty

About time CompTIA includes questions on customer service skills......that will make some people wake up to the fact that this is a service industry and not just about technology..... No beta appearing customer relations questions at all. Only 80 questions, not the 100 others with the more beta type questions are reporting. I even had Windows 95 questions! Can you believe it? I think my test was a real old one that got dug out of a bottom desk drawer. Some things I'd never heard of. Something about a Windows XP Protected Driver thing. Can't even find it on the internet or in any of my books. I know about Verifying the driver, but that's not what they asked about. Who knows, maybe they just made some things up.
