Temporary Secondment

oops...there was an errant ctrl-v there. I can explain that at
the oasis.
no one asked for an explanation, Sir

If we want your opinion, we'll give it to you.

Do we have a new target^H^H^H^H^H^H visitor?

Nah...he's like the redheaded kid down the street that just HAS to
butt into
everyone's conversation. A finger to the forehead will keep him busy
for hours.

So you mean he's sort of like one of my ferrets, except not as cute?

lol...yeah, I suppose so....damb, I miss my ferret now....couldn't bring her

from TX to CA because some moron outlawed them here.

Thank Ghod that the benevolent People's Republic of CA had the good sense
to outlaw dangerous mustelids. Few governments are as clear thinking and
proactive towards deadly animal threats to the public wellbeing.

Now if they would just do something to end the threat from feral hamsters!

Three cheers for the great state of California and it's beloved Governator!

Pit bulls are merely a misunderstood, yet lovable puppy dog. Sadly, much
maligned in the press for some reason. And alligators? HA! Everyone knows
there are no alligators outside of Florida. Besides, if alligators were
really dangerous, they would hadly allow them on golf courses, now would
they?

Ferrets are well know for attacking, unprovoked, with rabid savagery. Why,

it was a ferret, no less, that was responsible for the Great San Francisco
Earthquake, and I have irt on good authority that it may have been two
ferrets and a vicious parakeet named Bert that were responsible for the
failure of New Orleans' levees during hurricane Katrina!

The Governator could kick their assets, even if they had a ferret in each
hip pocket!

Actually, you may be semi-right there. My Black Chow was more evil that 5 Pit

Bulls...I know because that's how many he killed. Funny how that never made the
news...oh, yeah, no children involved. Maybe that's it, maybe it's just that
Pit Bulls are, in a sense, like Michael Jackson, or John Mark Carr....they love
molesting some children and killing others.

If they were taken care of, then they wouldn't be rabid when they attack.

Now, are you referring to the GREAT San Francisco Earthquake (1906), or just the
Great San Francisco Earthquake (1989). 1906 was obviously much more devastating,
but 1989 was much more expensive.

Probably, but that's why we're looking to invite Chuck Norris to be our next

Governor....I mean, heck, if an Austrian can do it, certainly anyone can.

1906, of course, the one in 1989 was centered in Loma Prieta. Fortunately,
there were no mustelids involved in the latter quake because of the ban
on ownership, or there would have been much greater damage.
