Does anyone have software to take some practice tests? Transcender is wanting around $400 for a copy which is a large chunk of change for me right now. Can anyone help?

Will you be kind enough to mention which practice test you are
searching for?

Well as I understand it, I need to pass a core hardware test and then an operating system test, so I guess what I need are practice tests for those two.

Try http://www.passitnow.com/comptia.html but be careful, a few answers may
not be correct. There are information sheets and practice questions at
http://www.tomax7.com/aplus/index.htm. You can find listings of "brain
dump" questions at
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Education/Certification/BrainDump/. Some are
free, some cost.

If you purchase vouchers from Total Seminars, http://www.totalseminars.com,
I've heard you get practice questions with your vouchers.

Hope this helps.

Patty is correct--when you buy vouchers from us, you get a CD-ROM with
A+ practice exam questions. Buying two vouchers (for the full A+
certification) scores you a disc with 1200 practice questions, 1000 of
which are *not* found on the disc included with Mike Meyers' A+
All-In-One book.

Anyone wanting to know more about vouchers (how they work, what we
include with ours) can give us a call (800-446-6004) and ask for
Mandy.
