Right. If you proctor exams you cannot take the exams. In fact if you
stop proctoring you must wait 12 to 18 months depending on the exam

Admittedly that was back in 1996 ... but the rules said 2 admins, so they
had to bend and let me be one. I've still got the transcripts in my "brag
book"

Sorry all. Forgot to mention that Prometric did offer a retake for free. I
thought that perhaps they could somehow calculate my score adjusted for the
questions that I could not answer (the simulation questions). Oh well. I'll
being retaking it again in about 2 weeks. I will probably go through all the
questions first to see if all the simulations appear.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts.

Hi TechDave,

I agree with my colleagues that when you have problems with your exam due to
technical problems at the training centre - it has never happened to me but I
know a lot of people whose testing computers have crashed or whatnot - any
honest testing centre will tell work for you to get a free retake, and if
they do not then you should contact the test provider (Prometric) and they
will (should?) step up for you. I know that these companies work very hard
to keep their satisfaction ratings up, and if the centre does not care then
the provider will want to know that, and will usually compensate to make sure
you ARE satisfied.

Good luck!

I took this test about 2 weeks ago and failed. I received a score of
653...with a 700 to pass. The real kicker is that I could not answer 4
questions....they were all the simulation questions. When I clicked on the
simulation box to bring up the simulation, nothing happened except the
question popped up again. This means that from the get go I was about 10% in
the hole. That is if all questions are weighted equally. The testing facility
(Prometric) just told me to try to pass without these 4 questions because
they (nor tech support) could do anything about it.
Anyone else with this sort of problem?
