I just saw that beginning August 1st, 2007 the CCNA exam will be 640-802

Will I still be able to take the 640-801 and get CCNA certified in July??

Hi
DID anyone attempt the new test yet ?
What the difference between the old and new test ?
Do i need to study all over for the new test ?

The new test isn't much different. You just need to know basic IPv6
concepts, wireless information for b & g, wpa and wep security
features....all simple if you're up to date with your technology.

I wrote the test a few days ago, and I agree with the above. From the
testkings, and pass4sure, about 2/3 was identical however, what I
never expected was the time. Make sure you can ring off those
questions in seconds, for if you need more time,on the multi-part
questions. Again, do not underestimate the time constraints. But to
your questions, if there were any new questions, there were few, and
non eventful.

You can see what is covered in the tests from Cisco's website here:

CCNA 640-801 - http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/current_exams/640-801.html

CCNA 640-802 - http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/current_exams/640-802.html

I hope this helps.
