I have installed a new Server and promoted it to a DC. I want to move
everything to this new server. When moving roaming profiles, after a copy
the users profile folders to the new server and change the Profile path in AD
users and computers do I need do anything else.

Yes, I did make sure the permissions remained the same. This is actually at
a school so, the Students and Teachers haven't actually had to login at all
since the change.

AB,
Have you verified the ntfs permissions on the new folder?
Did you have you users power off/log off to make sure when they login they
get the new mapping.
