|
|
Hi,
I had a problem whereby a rogue Linux server had set itself as a time server
and one of my domain controllers started to get time from it, instead of the
domain way.
Anyway, i seem to have stopped it but i'm not convinced that my DC is
getting the time correctly still. (2003 this is by the way).
My question is - how can i set the DC to go back to the start and get its
time in the correct way?
Thanks. |

hello,
by default, all computers member of a domain will sync time on the DC which
has the PDC emulator FSMO.
I don't think that your linux made your dc changed its time source.
Are you the only administrator ?
to get the name of the current sync server:
net time /query
to change :
net time /setsntp:mygooDC
You have to stop/start the time service again
