Regarding TCP.IP ports. what ports should i disable and what ports
should i keep open on a cisco router within my network.

Hi,

Nobody can tell you the answer to that question. What would you want
to go in/out of your network?

i would start with

www
pop3
dns
smtp
any bespoke apps you have

not sure if you need

ntp
snmp
any routing protcols

I would block everything else and then begin permitting in/out as and
when people complain
they can't access various services.
