Gurus,

I have one single domain. I have one group of users (General) in a security
group who have access to certain files and folder. I've created another group
(Elevated) whose users have access to the same as General, but also to some
restricted files and folders.

I thought that I could take those users who need restricted access, out of
General and into Elevated, and just add Elevated to the General group. In
this way I would ensure that I am managing my file and folder permissions by
Group, and not User.

However, when I go the properties of Elevated --> Member Of--> Add, I cannot
get General to show up there.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your time,

-Michael
