Hi

I recently ghosted some new machines in our library. When I log on with a
roaming profile I get the following message "loading your settings failed,
access is denied." My profile works on all the other machines in the
library. What setting could be causing this on the client? I assume its a
client setting since the profile works fine on all the other machines just
the newly ghosted machines have this problem.
Thanks,
P

Hi
they are XP SP2 and the event log reports that folder redirection did not
initialize. Group policy not accessible.

I'm not getting any security setting errors. I did get an error 4356 re COM
and Event Viewer and a lot of undecipherable info. when I went to the
support site it didn't give me any info.

It's weird, the profile works on any non-ghosted machine.

Hello,
are these stations XP SP2 (and not the older) ?
Do you have an eventlog about not having eclusive rights to the profile and
saying it doesn't use it because of security issue ?
