I have set up two 2600 routers in a back-to-back configuration using the AUX
ports. (One of my serial cards was bad, so I've had to get creative in
order to build a lab.)

Connectivity is fine. But I cannot seem to get RIP or OSPF to pass
information between the two routers. Is this possible?

Here is the interface and routing config from one of the routers:

interface Async65
ip address 172.30.1.2 255.255.255.0
encapsulation ppp
async dynamic routing
async mode dedicated
!
router ospf 1
log-adjacency-changes
network 10.10.100.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
network 172.30.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

Here is a show ip ospf database:

Router-2#sh ip ospf database

OSPF Router with ID (172.30.1.2) (Process ID 1)

Router Link States (Area 0)

Link ID ADV Router Age Seq# Checksum Link count
172.30.1.2 172.30.1.2 1582 0x80000002 0x00013A 2

sh ip ospf neighbor has nothing in it.

Thanks.
