How do I verify the FQDN if I know the Public IP address of the server?? Thx

The reverse is unique, but you may have many fqdn that resolve to the same
IP.

By "verify" do you mean you know it, or that you want it ?
You may check the reverse dns:
nslookup X.X.X.X
