I recently deployed an exchange server at a school that I do IT
support for, and all was going well.
Just last week, It started to slow down in regards to shutting down
and starting up. When the Ethernet cable is plugged in, it sits there
in excess of 20 mins, at which point I restart the machine manually by
holding the button in. When the Ethernet cable is unplugged during
startup, the machine will load instantly, and log into a cached
profile. When the Ethernet cable is plugged back in after login, all
network services (but not the ones relevant to exchange) are restored.
TCP/IP is set manually, with the Prefered DNS being the main DC, and
the Alternate being another DC.
I have uninstalled the NIC, and reinstalled it with the latest drivers
for that particular adapter, to no avail.
A very strange problem that i cant seem to figure out
Please help |
