Does anyone know what is the maximum time period allowed between
passing the ICND1 and ICND2 exams and still be able to qualify for a
full CCNA certificate ??

The CCENT qualification is valid for three years. You will need to do
the ICND2 exam before 3 years after passing the ICND1 exam.

Here are details on Cisco's website:

I hope this helps.
