I upgraded to the service pack 1 of the Group Policy editor. I dont
remember if I saw this before I upgraded or not but anyway now I see
in
the right side of my little AD. (when my mouse is on the domain name
at top) an Object called "Infrastructure" of the type
"infrastructureUpdate"

The icon or picture is nothing that is what I mean, its not any of
the
normal icons that appear in AD, it looks like an icon of a broken
linke or something
broken eg. you know when there is a link to an icon broken on the
desktop and its giving a default Ican because it can't find anything.
I dont know if this has anything to do with it but my GroupPolicies
dont work on several computers.
Many give give a 1054 error, in the event log, which is that it cant
update them and has given up.
(Cant find domain name)

Does anyone know what this infrastructureUpdate is and can I delete
it ??

InfrastructureUpdates objectsa re being used to replicate some changes
in directory which can't be replicated in other way - like when You are
moving object in migration scenario it can't be deleted but has to be
moved to target domain, however it has to be removed from source domain.
InfrastructureUpdate object is being created then to replicate this
change in source domain and prevent this object from being restored in a
future.

I don't think it has something to do with your problems
