Why is all of this MI5 stuff being posted in this group? This group is
for A+ certification, not conspiracy stuff.

Someone's got too much time on their hands. I tried to actually read a few
of them, and they don't make any sense, either. And, they go to other
newsgroups, too. People have no sense of decency.

They're British and it's just someone with too much time on their hands.
M15 is like the CIA or something.

The Security Service (MI5) is responsible for protecting the United
Kingdom against threats to national security.

I think we need to help this guy. I think they locked him up with a
cheap old laptop and AOL dial-up internet access. That combination is
enough to drive anyone insane!!! :)
Reading a little bit more on their site and you will notice they only
want to frustrate certain things instead of stopping them.
Stop, or I will blow my whistle!!!
Our corporate aims are therefore to:
frustrate terrorism;
prevent damage to the UK from foreign espionage and other covert
foreign state activity;
frustrate procurement by proliferating countries of material,
technology or expertise relating to weapons of mass destruction;
watch out for new or re-emerging types of threat;
protect Government's sensitive information and assets, and the
Critical National Infrastructure (CNI);
reduce serious crime through assistance to law enforcement agencies;
assist the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) and the Government
Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) in the discharge of their statutory
functions;
build Service capability and resilience. |
