I have 2 Windows 2003 domains with a 2-way trust established. I am trying
to use ADMT to migrate one domain into the other.
The domains share the same namespace, however they are not part of the same
secuity boundary. I think this is part of the problem. The domains are
"abc.local" (#1) and "md.abc.local" (#2). I can make the administrator of
#1 a member of #2 but can not make the administrator of #2 a member of #1.
As I understand it, this is a requirement.
I am considering renaming #2 to "md.local" so they don't share the same
namespace.
